Prophylactic medical examination and a healthy lifestyle

On October 29, 2013 the interregional public movement Movement Against Cancer will take part in public hearings on the subject: “Prophylactic medical examination and a healthy lifestyle”, to be held by the Russian Public Chamber’s Commission on control over health system reform and modernization and demography, together with the Commission on nation’s health, promotion of sports and tourism.
Participants of hearings will discuss acute problems of medical examination of the population, mechanisms, which are poorly used yet, as well as creating a targeted Coordinating Council under the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent diseases among different population groups in order to strengthen public control.
