Roszdravnadzor will talk online about the “Seven Nosologies” program

On October 29, at 14:00 Moscow time, the online Patients’ School will be held dedicated to the subsidized drug provision program “Seven Nosologies”. The School is organized with the administrative support from the Federal Service on Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development of Russian Federation (Roszdravnadzor) administration in Moscow and Moscow region with organizational and technical assistance from the non-profit partnership Equal Right to Life and interregional public movement Movement Against Cancer.

Seven Nosologies is a federal program to provide expensive medications for patients with rare diseases. Within the program, medicines are provided for patients with malignant neoplasms of lymphoid, haematopoietic and related tissue, hemophilia, cystic fibrosis, pituitary dwarfism, Gaucher's disease, multiple sclerosis, as well as patients after organ or tissue transplantation. Participants of Patients’ Schools will learn how they can get drug coverage under the program, how drugs are prescribed, how registers of patients are created, where to appeal and how to assert their rights in case of denial to provide subsidized drugs. Any member of the webcast will have an opportunity to ask a question and get an answer in real time.
In the course of medical unit of Patients’ Schools titled “The register of patients: what patients need to know that about it”, Margarita Makarova, doctor of medical sciences and medical director of the NP Equal Right to Life, will talk about the federal register of patients with rare diseases.
During the legal unit of Patients’ Schools titled “The Seven Nosologies program: organizational and legal aspects”, Nikolay Dronov, Chairman of the Executive Committee of IPM Movement Against Cancer and vice-chairman of the Council for the protection of patients' rights under Roszdravnadzor, will talk about the rights of patients to receive subsidized drugs within the Seven Nosologies program.
During the webcast consultation in the chat will be available. Participants’ questions will be answered by Larisa Zvereva, a lawyer.
