We invite you to take part in the annual charity event “People for People” to be held on May 28, 2014 at 17:00 at the universal sport hall “Druzhba” of Olympic Complex “Luzhniki” (Moscow, Luzhniki street, 24, build. 5 – opposite the Russian Olympic Committee). The event is aimed at creating a positive attitude in society towards organ donation and demonstration of physical capabilities of people with transplanted organs.
During the event, a concert and a football match will be held. Teams will include people with transplanted organs, physicians-transplantologists, famous movie and theater actors. The following guests of honor are invited: coach of the Russian national football team Fabio Kapello; members of the Russian national football team; Olympic champions Victor An and Nicolay Guliaev, sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev, veteran of FC Dinamo (Moscow) Andrey Smetanin, “Kremlin Ballet’ theatre, TV presenter Andrei Malakhov, actors Alexander Piatkov, Vladimir Permjakov, Natalia Bochkareva, honored artist Vadim Kazachenko, Ariel band, member of the parody group “Ex BB” Giya Gagua, singers Irakli Pirtskhalava and Dmitry Bikbaev, the leader of rap group “Bad Balance” Vlad Valov, the leader of biker club “Night Wolves” Alexander Zaldostanov (“Surgeon”) and more.
The goal of the game is the spirit of unity, bringing people together and attracting public attention to the problems of Russian transplantology, problems of seriously ill people awaiting for life-saving surgery across Russia.
In previous years, the event was participated by State Duma deputy Irina Rodnina, Chairman of the Russian Union of Christians of Evangelical Faith Sergey Riahovskiy, President of the Russian Jewish Congress Yuri Kanner, public figure Pavel Borodin.
The organizing committee in those years received greetings from Chairman of the Russian Auditing Chamber T.A. Golikova, Governor of Moscow Region A.Yu. Vorobiev, Minister of Health, Corresponding Member of RAS V.I. Skvortcova, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, the head of the Communist Party faction in the State Duma G.A. Ziuganov, Apostolic Nuncio in Russia, Archbishop Ivan Yurkovich.
Organizers of the event: Russian Society of Transplantology, National Medicine and Sports Alliance “Healthy Generation”, I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.
