On October 8, RIA Novosti will host a multimedial roundtable discussion "Budget maneuver" in healthcare: what might be the consequences?"

The experts will discuss the issues of fiscal policy in 2014 and the planning period of 2015 and 2016 in healthcare.

Since the beginning of 2014 the Russian Ministry of Finance plans a reduction in budget spendings on healthcare and it will affect, first of all, areas that are already underfunded. At the roundtable, leading experts will discuss the issues of quality of care and the amount of drug supply in the course of implementation of "budget maneuver"; how the regional system of health care will financing will change, what regions will be affected more than others by the "budget maneuver" program; what will happen to patients in relation to changes in budgeting.
