It is true that cancer is incurable, that it is contagious and hereditary? Can mobile phones, sun or stress cause cancer? These and many other questions will be answered by experts on September, 24 at 14:00 during the webcast dedicated to myths about cancer.
The webcast will be organized with the support of Roszdravnadzor Administration in Moscow and Moscow Region as part of the current active project of "Patients’ Schools", implemented by leading Russian public anti-cancer organizations – NP Equal Right to Life and IPM Movement Against Cancer. During the online webcast experts will address the widespread misconceptions associated with cancer, provide the correct facts, and give practical advice for the protection of patients' rights. In addition, they will answer questions from the audience in real-time.
In particular, the speakers include Irina Morkovkina, cand. med. sci., medical psychiatrist, psychotherapist, Member of the Board of Trustees of P.A. Hertsen Moscow Research Institute of Oncology of the Russian Ministry of Health and Nicolay Dronov, vice-chairman of the Council for the Protection of Patients' Rights at Roszdravnadzor Administration in Moscow and Moscow Region, member of the Council of public organizations for the protection of patients’ rights at the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
Any participant of the online webcast will have an opportunity to ask questions to experts and get answers both orally and in writing, via chat and forum.
