In Ufa will host the first Patients' School on oncohematology

On June 19, at 16:00, the Republican Clinical Hospital named after G.G. Kuvatov will host "Patients' School" dedicated to oncohematology. Participants will have an opportunity to get up-to-date information on the lymphoproliferative disorders, methods of diagnosis, prevention, treatment, including rehabilitation after surgery, and have free advice of hematologist, psychologist on oncology and lawyer.

This educational outreach event is organized by interregional public movement "Movement Against Cancer" with the support of non-profit partnership "Equal Right to Life". It is open to patients, their relatives and all who are interested in the information on this group of diseases.
A welcoming speech to the participants of "Patients' School" will be delivered by Guzyal Shagbanovna Safuanova, doct. med. sci, professor, Head of Department of therapy and general practice with the course on geriatrics at the Institute of Continuous Education of Bashkir State Medical University, chief haematologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan. She will also talk about the specifics of the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoproliferative disorders. The lecture on psychological aspects of the rehabilitation and treatment of patients will be delivered by Oksana Vladislavovna Nazarova, psychologist in oncology,  psychotherapist, autonomous non-profit organization "Project Co-operation" (Moscow). Nikolay Petrovich Dronov, chairman of the executive committee of IPM "Movement Against Cancer", deputy executive director on legal affairs of the non-profit partnership "Equal Right to Life" will present a report on organizational matters to health care and social protection of patients.

After lectures participants of Patients' School will have an opportunity to ask questions to experts and get advice on individual cases.

The Patients' School will be held in the conference hall of Republican Clinical Hospital named after G.G. Kuvatov (Ufa, Dostoevsky street, 132)
