All news...Public association Movement Against Cancer defines its ultimate aim as follows: promoting the right of all cancer patients to access the timely and effective treatment. With this purpose the Movement contributes to the wide dissemination of information about innovative forms and methods of treatment, and draws attention of public and authorities to the problems with ensuring accessibility of such forms and methods.
The Movement operates on the basis of independence, impartiality, unconditional law-abiding. This commitment dictates insistence on adherence to high standards in the relationship of the Movement with its business partners and sponsors, particularly with pharmaceutical companies.
PRINCIPLES OF RELATIONS WITH MOVEMENT’S BUSINESS PARTNERS
Relations between the Movement and companies manufacturing cancer drugs and other treatments (hereinafter - business partners), are based on the principles of independence, transparency, taking into account mutual interest, equality and mutual benefit.
Independence
The Movement is building relationships with each business partner on an individual basis, while maintaining independence and seeking to maximum implementation of the stated objectives.
The information disseminated by the Movement is independent of the sources of its funding. Terms of provision of information support with regard to products of a business partner in exchange for sponsorship are unacceptable to the Movement. Any and all agreements on cooperation, provisions of charitable assistance for the Movement or other forms of support must respect the independent status of the Movement and cannot contain direct or veiled conditions for giving advantages to either individual business partners or their products in the Movement’s activities.
Openness
We believe that the most complete information about all possible drugs and other treatments is the best way to meet interests of cancer patients. Patients should have a clear idea about available cancer drugs, their relative clinical effectiveness and cost of treatment. Therefore, the Movement will maintain contacts with all concerned business partners. We are committed to broad cooperation with as many business partners, as possible, providing a maximum freedom of choice for cancer patients, and the maximum freedom of operation for the Movement.
Consideration of Mutual Interests
The Movement offers its business partners to mutually respect the moral and ethical principles on which the both parties' activities are based, as well as the objective limitations of these activities. The Movement shall refrain from any actions that could harm the interests of its business partners, as well as from actions leading to giving advantages to a certain business partner over the others.
Equality and Mutual Benefit
The Movement does not give preference to any of its business partners, highly appreciating the relationship with each of them.
The Movement builds a relationship with each of its business partners on an equal basis. Any agreement between the Movement and its business partners will only be effective, if it is completed freely, without any external pressure, and for the benefit for both parties. The Movement expresses its appreciation to a sponsor publicly and in the agreed with it form. The Movement timely informs its sponsors of the progress of the project implementation to which it has lent targeted support.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCEPTING SPONSOR SUPPORT BY THE MOVEMENT

2. The Movement reserves all rights to determine the content and form of the publications issued at the expense of sponsors, as well as the copyright for these publications.
3. Any reference to the Movement or its representatives in the documents of the sponsor (both public, including press releases, and those intended for domestic use), as well as the use of the logo of the Movement shall be agreed with the Movement.
4. In accordance with the principles set forth by the Movement, it does not support any drug or method of treatment, as well as any group of drugs manufactured by one and the same company, or the activity of a single business partner to the detriment of other drugs or kinds of treatment offered by other companies. The Movement is committed to informing cancer patients of all available treatment options, creating opportunities to discuss these options with experts, thus providing the basis for a conscious and informed choice of a treatment option by cancer patients.
This Declaration does not contradict the Russian legislation, including the Federal Law № 135-FZ dated August 11, 1995 "On Charity and Charitable Organizations."
